Full Service Compliance

Regulations require specific information, documentation, and periodic updates to assure that each commercial drivers utilized by a motor carrier are qualified according to regulation.

There are three primary areas of compliance:  Driver Qualification; Hours of Service; and Equipment Maintenance.  To avoid fines and penalties it is imperative that this record keeping is in compliance with all State and Federal motor carrier regulations.

To reassure that all driver qualification documents and records are maintained properly and completed in a timely fashion, ADVANCED COMPLIANCE SOLUTIONS, LLC (A.C.S.) is prepared to serve your needs in the areas of record keeping.

After the Agreement has been signed, our staff shall request a list of all the current drivers and existing files.  Upon notification of your current driver list, our personnel shall review the specific documents discovered in the current files.  A.C.S. shall then identify and request specific documentation from each driver/employee and/or other resources necessary to complete the initial ?Driver Qualification File? (D.Q.).  Our Compliance Staff shall place all required records and documents into the specific files as needed to bring the files up to compliance levels.

It will be the responsibility of the client (during the initial set up and throughout the service time period) to respond to those requests.  Without the responses A.C.S. cannot guarantee that your files will meet compliance levels.

When the initial file review and requests have been completed, our staff will schedule an interview with the appropriate personnel at your facility to review the current procedures as they pertain to the motor carrier regulations.  This will also help you with the overall understanding of the D.O.T. requirements of the following major topics (our staff is available thereafter if you have questions as to specific situations.  In depth consulting will be charged at our standard rates; supplemental proposals are available upon request.)

  • Hours of Service
  • Equipment Maintenance Record Keeping
  • Driver Qualification, including Substance Abuse Testing guidelines
  • Accident Procedures

During periodic visits to your facility, our staff will review current files; place new documents into the file; and review any concerns or questions that either party may have.   In order for A.C.S. to maintain the Driver Qualification files accurately, we will ask that you do not remove or add any records to these files.

Our staff tracks the status of your driver records on a daily basis.  As needed, specific forms and/or documents will be required to be obtained, signed, and/or updated and placed into the D.Q. file.  Our staff shall request these documents; review the records; obtain signatures in a reasonable time frame prior to the renewal due date; and place the documents into the appropriate files as necessity dictates.

Specific details as to the exact steps and methods will be thoroughly reviewed with your staff prior to the initiation of the service.

In the situation that your operation would be confronted with a 'Regulatory' audit or review, a staff member from A.C.S. would be present, upon reasonable request.
